Brussels and Lettuce

The worms have hit the brussels sprouts hard. I didn't even notice until Sunday. The plants in A seem to have got it worse, maybe because they are under the tree. On one plant, one of the biggest, I found several worms. Picked off all I saw.
The lettuce I planted actually came up pretty well, with several seedlings in each spot. Now I have the difficult task of thinning them. I thought I might wait a little and see who survives best. Honestly, I don't think I have nearly as many seedlings as I planted seeds, though. So I'm glad I was generous.
I'm getting sugar snaps now, one or two a day. For all the plants I started, only the biggest are producing. If they all were, I would have lots, handfuls!
