I wrote a big post yesterday, and then it didn't publish. So I will try again. I fed the garden with fish emulsion on Sunday. The collards in B were quite buggy, so I pulled them. There are a couple of huge ones in A I am keeping for now, as the greens have been so good. Ann gave me 4 tomato plants. I planted the 2 cherry tomatoes in B and the 2 Merced in A. I probably should mix them, in case one bed is better...oh well. I planted them between the sugar snap peas at the back and the brussel sprouts, planning and hoping that the cool weather crops would be done before the tomatoes get big. Last night I pulled out another broccoli plant and planted lettuce in 2 1/2 square feet (4 to a sq. ft.). Because I had so few lettuce even come up last year, I planted a pinch of seeds in each spot, trying to get different kinds of seed.
